  • Salami made of beef seasoned with wine and garlic. Slice thinly and fan on a small plate for an appetizer. (Made in the USA)
  • Whole tomatoes, peeled and packed by hand in water, salt and lemon juice. Slice to desired thickness and add to cacciatora spice mix. See below for sauce instructions. (Puglia, Southern Italy)
  • Organic rainbow-colored pasta in in the shape of bowties (“farfalline”) or hearts (“cuori”). Boil in salty water for around 9 min. or until desired firmness.(Puglia, Southern Italy)
  • Dried cacciatora, or country style, sauce mix with zucchini, eggplant, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano and red pepper. Add 1 cup of water and sauce mix to sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until water evaporates (10-15 min.). Add 3-4 tbsp of olive oil and sauté for 3-4 min. Add peeled tomatoes and cook for approx. 20 min. (Calabria, Southern Italy)
  • Dark chocolate bar with whole hazelnuts or hazelnut layer. Eat at room temperature and break into pieces to enjoy combination of dark chocolate and hazelnut, a classic Italian flavor combination. (Piemonte, Northern Italy)
